Participation ininternational research efforts

The Plasma Quebec Network participates in international collaborations by subsidizing:

• the living and travel expenses of international researchers visiting our laboratories;
• the participation of members in international scientific association committees;
• the participation of members in government commissions and committees;
• the organization of international conferences;
• consultation for non-profit organizations;
• the participation of students and post-doctoral trainees to conferences and international exchanges.

LITAP: Laboratoire International des Technologies et des Applications des Plasmas (International Laboratory for Plasma Technologies and Applications)

This laboratory is an initiative of Pr. J. Pelletier (CNRS, Grenoble), Pr. M. Moisan ( UdeM) and Pr.M. Chaker (INRS). It includes the founder universities of Plasma-Québec, as well as Ecole Polytechnique de Palaiseau, Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble), Université de Paris XI-Orsay and Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse). LITAP will act as a stepping-stone for linking with a future European Network. The establishment of a similar Pan-American Network is under evaluation.
